Mike Rabbitt is from South Australia originally and moved to Newcastle in 1980, joining NBN Television in 1981 as a sports presenter and commentator. In 1993 Mike became the promotions and marketing manager of NBN Television whilst still performing his role as sports news reader and commentator.
